Making effective use of deep underground space

OverviewThe TBW-SRC Diaphragm Wall is a steel-reinforced concrete structure wall which combines H-shaped steel beams in a reinforced concrete wall (RC wall) of TBW-RC Diaphragm Wall. This method has been approved by the Building Center of Japan for use in permanent basement walls, earthquake-resisting walls, and bearing walls which double as temporary retaining walls.

Features
1.
For basement walls at least 30 meters deep, this method makes more efficient use of underground space than RC continuous walls by greatly reducing the wall thickness.
2.
Durability is increased to make vastly efficient use of building lots having deep underground structures.
